Deirdre Ryan

Director, JSTOR Primary Sources

Deirdre Ryan is the business director for primary sources, which includes African Heritage Sites and Landscapes, Auction Catalogs, JSTOR Plant Science, British Pamphlets, and Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa. She is working collaboratively across functional units to successfully develop and launch multi-content products, starting with an exciting and innovative new Plant Science product combining journal content with plant type specimen images, letters, maps, photographs, field books, and related materials.  

 

Deirdre proudly began her career in technology and education by working as a new media production associate in 1995 at The Chronicle of Higher Education. Since then her experience has included teaching digital design at Parsons School of Design, working for a start-up publishing company in Dublin, and producing online seminars and related educational resources at Columbia University.
