Barbara Frances - Sat 2/27 @ 3pm

Join us for local author Barbara Frances talk about her new novel, Like I Used to Dance, at 3pm. It will be a fun trip back to 50's small town Texas and all the secrets that a small town holds.

The Book Spot Week is here!

This week we are having our first annual celebration of The Book Spot Week! We will have sales throughout the store as well as our very popular Sidewalk Sale Wednesday - Saturday! Please come and join us for all of the fun. Also stay tuned for great new products and sales coming this holiday season, which starts on Small Business Saturday, November 28.

We will also have some surprises during the week including some cake, a happy hour and lots of other fun. Don't miss it!

Omega City Launch - May 20 @ 6:30 pm with Diana Peterfreund and Mari Mancusi

Current Lonestar list Author Diana Peterfreund is bringing her new book, Omega City, to The Book Spot to launch it into the world. This new Middle Grade adventure is a great read for all readers age 10 and up. Diana has also asked our mutual friend Mari Mancusi to join her at the shop, so we will have TWO great authors this Wednesday at 6:30pm!

Some Like It HOT! Book Tour - 4/18 @ 2pm

Join us as we welcome four bestselling Romance Authors to the shop on Saturday April 18 @ 2pm. Donna Grant, Lexi Blake, Shayla Black and J. Kenner will be joining us to talk about their latest books!

We will have SWAG bags from the authors, have an opportunity to hear the authors talk about their new books and ask questions. We will have lots of books for sale, especially their latest releases! While you are free to bring previously owned books to the event, please remember that the way that we are able to host these events is by selling books! Please be respectful to The Book Spot and these authors by planning to make some purchases at the shop.

Orphan Queen Launch Tour - 3/12 @ 6:30p

Jodi Meadows and Brodi Ashton are coming back to The Book Spot to help Jodi Launch her new YA Series, The Orphan Queen!  Brodi has also released the final book in her Everneath Trilogy in paperback, Evertrue!

You might remember we had these two authors in last year during one of our ice storms and many people didn't get to come, so we worked with HarperTeen to get them back for an Encore and to help launch Orphan Queen!  Join us on Thursday March 12 at 6:30pm for these high anticipated duo!
