The trailer of The Shallows starring Blake Lively was released on Friday and it is terribly scary.

In the trailer, Blake, who plays Nancy, screams for help as she is seen surfing alone in deep waters. Somehow, she manages to take refuge on a rock in the sea.

But what happens next is terribly scary. Soon after, she is attacked by a great white shark, which circles around the rock on which she is stuck.

Although Nancy is quite close to the shore, it seems impossible for her to reach there safely.

Directed by Jaume Collett-Serra , The Shallows will release on July 1.
