Barbara Chin

Director, Journals at JSTOR

Barbara Chin is Director for Journals at JSTOR and responsible for the strategic direction of new journal collections. JSTOR currently has over 1,000 participating publishers and societies from all over the world, and she manages publisher relations and overseas a suite of benefits and services that enhance the value proposition for publishers. She also works closely with librarians and scholars to understand how JSTOR can address their content and research needs with new products and collections.

 

Prior to joining JSTOR in 2005, Barbara worked as an Editor at Cambridge University Press acquiring and managing journals across the humanities and social sciences and is a former teacher of English and Latin. She holds a bachelor of arts in Greek and Latin from Wellesley College and a master of public administration with a concentration in non-profit management from Baruch College.
