Ateliers d'ethnomusicologie

The Ateliers d'ethnomusicologie (ADEM), established in Geneva (Switzerland) in 1983, is an institute dedicated to the diffusion of the world's music and dances. ADEM divides its time between programming concerts and festivals, supporting artistic creation, running educational activities (regular classes and courses of world music and dances) and publishing scientific journals (in particular the Cahiers d'ethnomusicologie). Concert season opens every year with the "World Nights" festival at the beginning of autumn and finishes with the multi-discipline workshops and seminars on offer at the "Cultural Crossroads" organised at the beginning of summer.
