America on the Go is a series of brief analytical reports that present National Household Travel Survey (NHTS) 2001 findings on specific travel topics.
The NHTS, conducted 2001-2002, examines the travel habits and behavior of more than 26,000 U.S. households. The most comprehensive survey of U.S. travel since 1995, the NHTS offers information on traveler demographics, trip purpose, length, distance, destinations and the modes of transportation used.
