Features
Publishers of scholarly books can take advantage of JSTOR’s robust platform and extensive network of participating institutions. Publishers set the prices for their ebooks, which JSTOR makes available to institutions for purchase.
A Broad Audience
JSTOR works with more than 10,000 institutions in over 150 countries. We have sales representatives around the world who work to increase JSTOR participation among institutions. In addition, we collaborate with publishers on joint marketing and promotional activities, including email newsletters and digital advertising, at no cost to the publishers. JSTOR also shares usage information to help publishers gain a clearer understanding of the market.
Discoverability
Publishers’ books are integrated with other high-quality academic content on JSTOR’s platform. With more than 2,000 journals and two million book reviews on the platform, JSTOR provides context that encourages scholarly exploration and drives the discovery, use, and impact of your books.
Preservation
Books will be preserved in Portico, ITHAKA’s digital preservation service.
CONTACT
