Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs oversees University policies governing the academic programs of CUNY and its 19 colleges and more than 100 research centers. The Office is also responsible for the development and implementation of the “Flagship Environment” initiative and a variety of special University-wide programs, such as the William E. Macaulay Honors College and the Teaching Opportunity Program. >>

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Budget and Finance oversees and manages budget and finances for CUNY's 24 campuses and professional schools and the central administration and represents the University on all operating budget matters. Communications & Marketing

CUNY’s Office of Computing and Information Services (CIS) provides central support for the University’s information technology (IT) and telecommunication needs. >>



Enrollment Management

The Division of Enrollment Management, in collaboration with CUNY's 23 colleges, designs and manages University-wide strategies, priorities, and policies pertaining to student enrollment. Campus-specific goals and day-to-day operations pertaining to enrollment occur locally at each CUNY campus.. >>

Facilities Planning, Construction and Management

The office is responsible for physical plant maintenance and operations, facilities planning, and capital programs; planning, negotiating, and implementing capital construction and rehabilitation programs in consultation with a broad range of constituencies, and monitoring and providing technical assistance and support to the campuses for the operation and utilization of the 26-million-square-foot, 300-building CUNY plant. >>

Health & Human Services

The Office of the University Dean for Health & Human Services provides support and technical assistance to CUNY schools to prepare a large, culturally diverse pool of qualified health and human services personnel in areas such as nursing, social work, nutrition, speech pathology and mental health counseling. >>



Human Resources Management

OHRM is responsible for developing the University's human resources guidelines, standards, rules and regulations. We enforce federal, state and local employment laws, and ensure compliance with the CUNY Board of Trustees' policies and procedures regarding employment, including affirmative action and equal opportunity employment. OHRM administers employee benefits and professional development programs for University staff, and oversees the administration of Civil Service examinations. >>

Library Services

The OLS staff, headed by University Librarian Curtis Kendrick, works with campus librarians to coordinate and enhance library services. The Office provides the University with CUNY+ (our online catalog), negotiates University-wide contracts and licenses, and subsidizes the CUNY Digital Library Collection, commercial document delivery and courtesy discharge services. >>
