Brill’s New Jacoby
Brill's New Jacoby provides a revised edition of the Greek texts of Felix Jacoby’s Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker where relevant. It includes several new authors and many fragments of existing authors that were either unknown to Jacoby or excluded by him. It also gives commentaries in those cases where Jacoby failed to do so. Brill's New Jacoby presents facing English translations of the Greek fragments, a new, critical commentary, and a brief encyclopedia-style entry about each historian’s life and works, with a select bibliography.
Brill’s New Jacoby is currently still a work-in-progress with final publication of the last historian scheduled for 2017. A list of the available historians in alphabetical order can be viewed in the contents tab below.

Brill´s New Pauly is the English edition of the authoritative Der Neue Pauly, published by Verlag J.B. Metzler since 1996. The encyclopaedic coverage and high academic standard of the work, the interdisciplinary and contemporary approach and clear and accessible presentation have made the New Pauly the unrivalled modern reference work for the ancient world. The section on Antiquity of Brill´s New Pauly are devoted to Greco-Roman antiquity and cover more than two thousand years of history, ranging from the second millennium BC to early medieval Europe. Special emphasis is given to the interaction between Greco-Roman culture on the one hand, and Semitic, Celtic, Germanic, and Slavonic culture, and ancient Judaism, Christianity, and Islam on the other hand. The section on the Classical Tradition is uniquely concerned with the long and influential aftermath of antiquity and the process of continuous reinterpretation and revaluation of the ancient heritage, including the history of classical scholarship. Brill´s New Pauly presents the current state of traditional and new areas of research and brings together specialist knowledge from leading scholars from all over the world. Many entries are elucidated with maps and illustrations and the English edition will include updated bibliographic references.

The monumental series Die Fragmente der griechischen Historiker contains the critical edition of 856 Greek historians whose work is preserved incompletely, i.e. in fragments. Felix Jacoby collected these fragments and edited them, adding biographical testimonies and extensive commentaries.

Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker Continued. Part IV is the continuation of Felix Jacoby's monumental work on ancient Greek fragmentary historians, Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker, which was published between 1923 and 1958. It includes the fragments of ancient Greek biography and antiquarian literature, a section that Jacoby was not able to publish before his death. Part IV will ultimately consist of more than 20 book volumes presenting the original Greek texts with translations and full commentaries. In the meantime, Brill's online edition provides electronic access to the rich materials that have been prepared so far: those already available in existing volumes as well as those that have been completed but have not yet gone to print.

Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker part V: Die Geographen is part of Felix Jacoby’s original planned work Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker.
Die Geographen offers completely new material giving the original Greek texts with translations and commentaries. This project is expected to be completed in 2014 and will consist of the fragments and testimonia of 96 Greek historians.
Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker part V is part of Jacoby Online – a unique reference work bringing together Felix Jacoby’s monumental Die Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker I-III, Brill’s New Jacoby and the completely new Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker IV and Fragmente der Griechischen Historiker V.

Brill’s Lexicon of Greek Grammarians of Antiquity (LGGA) serves as the first point of reference for information on the ancient grammarians for scholars of Greek and Latin antiquity, in particular for research into the history of philology, grammar and ancient scholarship.
Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum
The Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum systematically collects newly published Greek inscriptions as well as publications on previously known documents. It presents complete Greek texts of all new inscriptions with a critical apparatus; it summarizes new readings, interpretations, and studies of known inscriptions, and occasionally presents the Greek text of these documents.
The online edition includes all SEG volumes, and will incorporate all future volumes in the series. Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum Online is automatically updated upon publication of the annual volume.
