It was a busy and exciting week in New York as Turner employees participated in Diversity week with Turner CEO & Chairman John Martin serving as Honorary Co-Chair for both the NAMIC Conference and annual Kaitz Dinner. James Anderson, SVP Communications, Cartoon Network-Adult Swim-Boomerang, also served as Co-Chair for the NAMIC Conference planning committee.

The week kicked off with the WICT (Women in Cable Telecommunications) Leadership Conference that featured Angela Santone, EVP & global chief HR officer, Turner and WICT board member, on a panel, as well as Sandy Padula, SVP Research, TBS & TNT.

Serving as co-chair for the 30th annual NAMIC (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) conference along with BET CEO Debra Lee, John Martin gave the keynote speech at the opening breakfast reception where more than 30 Turner employees were in attendance.

Earlier this week, Quincy Johnson, VP Strategic Products, Turner, and Fredricka Whitfield, CNN Newsroom Weekend Anchor, both participated in panel discussions.

The week ended with the highly attended Kaitz Dinner where CNN's Fredricka Whitfield served alongside dinner Co-Chairs John Martin and Tom Rutledge, CEO Charter Communications. They both introduced the evening’s honorees, as well as gave brief remarks.
