BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 A.M.) - The Lebanese Army carried out a powerful assault against the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) on Friday, targeting the aforementioned terrorist group near the Syrian border-crossing.
According to a Lebanese security source, the army conducted raids in the Wadi Zarzour area of Jaroud 'Arsal, killing scores of Islamic State terrorists before nightfall dissipated the intensity of their military operation.
In addition to the raids, the Lebanese Army also shelled the Islamic State terrorists in Wadi Zarzour, destroying a militant hideout in the process.
