Dale Myers

Vice President, Platform Engineering & Operations

Dale Myers, vice president of platform engineering and operations, leads ITHAKA’s technology and content production teams. In this role he is responsible for creating ITHAKA’s long-term technology vision for being a technology enabled product organization. He is also responsible for technology architecture, software engineering, technology infrastructure and operations, support services and the company’s Scrum/Agile practice. Dale is passionate about building scalable technology and high performing Agile teams that add true value through technology for ITHAKA’s participants.

 

Prior to joining ITHAKA Dale served in technology consulting and leadership roles as a cooperation partner at Mercedes Benz Technology, chief technology officer of two successful start–ups, and vice president of technology and architecture at Borders Group. Dale has extensive experience in leading teams building service oriented architectures and high availability web sites. He holds both ITIL and Scrum certifications.

 

Dale earned a master of sciences in information from the University of Michigan’s School of Information and holds a bachelor of arts degree in English.
