  • Georgetown Team Explores Higher Ed Changes in Paraguay

    The Ministry of Education and Culture of Paraguay contracted Georgetown University to develop a proposal for the reform of higher education in that country. Two entities at Georgetown University formed a partnership to develop this proposal. They were the Center for Intercultural Education and Development, and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. These two entities developed a team of experts to develop the proposal. (read more)

  • Achieving Financial Inclusion

    The Georgetown University and Santander Group Partnership on Social Economy will present “Achieving Financial Inclusion": An Event of the Annual 'Finance and Human Development' Series, on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Gaston Hall, Georgetown University, Washington, DC. The event will consist of afternoon panel discussions followed by a special keynote address featuring Lawrence H. Summers, President Emeritus and Charles W. Eliot Professor, Harvard University, with a special introduction by Ana Botín, Executive Chairman, The Santander Group. (see more)

  • Graduate School Dean to Host Welcome BBQ for Graduate Students: September 8

    Dean Norberto Grzywacz, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, will host a welcome bar-b-que dinner for all graduate students and graduate faculty on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on the 4th floor patio of the Car Barn. There will be food and beverages provided at no cost to all graduate students. Beer and wine will be served (official photo ID showing proof of age required).

  • Graduate New Student Orientation: August 30

    A Graduate New Student Orientation Program will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. All new graduate students at Georgetown University are encouraged to attend this half-day event that provides you with a brief overview of the University administration, graduate services, graduate resources, and other important, useful, and even fun information to make your transition to Georgetown successful as you begin your graduate student education.
