International Students

Georgetown’s globally recognized programs draw exceptional graduate and undergraduate students from nearly every corner of the world. These students represent a broad spectrum of economic, racial, religious and demographic backgrounds, and they play a special role in advancing Georgetown’s international character.

UNDERGRADUATES

International applicants follow the same application procedures and deadlines as U.S. citizens. For more information, please visit the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Financial aid for international students is limited, but Georgetown offers a small number of need-based scholarships for selected first-year international students who demonstrate financial need. More information about these scholarships is available through the Office of Student Financial Services.

International applicants to Georgetown’s graduate programs should check with their schools or academic departments of interest for more information. International candidates are evaluated on an equal basis with U.S. citizens for admission and merit-based scholarships.
