Proxy Server Access Issue – April 6, 2015
Some institutions have reported difficulty accessing the Digital Library when logged into their institutional network or proxy server. We are currently looking into the problem and will let you know when we have any further information. If you are running into issues accessing Artstor, please email userservices@artstor.org.
For Administrators:
If you are an Artstor administrator troubleshooting this issue, please follow these steps:
- Please update the proxy URL to lead to directly the Digital Library page (library.artstor.org instead of artstor.org).
- In addition, please update your proxy configurations. Directions can be found here.
- If you are still having trouble, please email userservices@artstor.org and include the following:
- your institution’s proxy URL
- the username and password for a test log in account
In the meantime, all users should be able to access the Digital Library while on campus. Users who are off-campus and have a registered Artstor account can access the Digital Library remotely by going to artstor.org, clicking “Enter Artstor Digital Library”, and logging with their username and password.
