The Jabhat Fath Al-Sham were among the first to leave besieged Aleppo and the fate of those they arrested remains unknown

Amidst the Russian military and diplomatic support for the Assad regime and the use of modern weapons to strike Aleppo, which are all justified by the war on the Qaeda branch in Aleppo (Jabhat Fath Al-Sham), the latter continue to commit atrocities against both, civilians and armed men.

A private source stated to Aleppo24 that the Jabhat Fath Al-Sham affiliates were all evacuated in the first convoy that left besieged Aleppo.

The source also reported that the JFS left detainees from the FSA Division 16 in their run prisons in Aleppo, which were recently captured by Assad’s forces, adding that their fate remains unknown. In addition, when they left besieged Aleppo, they took with them some people they kidnapped from the city, whom they transported to Idlib.

One of the human violation committed by the JFS is their arrest of a media activist at a field hospital in besieged Aleppo before the announcement of the evacuation deal. He was arrested as he was filming rescue operations and then transported to one of their headquarters for interrogation, which are located in the neighborhoods that are still under the control of the local factions.

The JFS also arrested 33 fighters from the Twba Brigade before releasing them recently. The violations of JFS include also their affiliates, as one of their emirs in Idlib was sacked from his position after he called them for abiding by the demands of the local factions about the unification under one umbrella.

According to the same source, around 7700 people, including all JFS fighters operating in Aleppo, left besieged Aleppo, while there are still 50 thousand, 800 of which include the wounded, FSA fighters and their families.
