Member of the Tunisian Assembly of Representatives
He is Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Energy and Environment. He previously served as the head of the political bureau of Ennahda party. In 2011, he was elected as a member of the National Constituent Assembly. During the national dialogue for which Tunisia obtained the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize, he represented the Ennahda. In 2014, he was elected as a deputy in the Assembly of the Representatives in which he now heads the Committee on Industry, Energy and Environment.
