'University of Rojava' to be opened

The Education Council of Rojava's Cizîr Canton announced that a 'University of Rojava' will be opened soon.

Cizîr Canton Education Council Co-presidents Mihemed Salih Ebdo and Semîra Hac Elî and Democratic Society Education Committee Executive Member Zozan Hac Ehmed held a press conference at Amude Executive Council hall Monday afternoon.

A statement made here announced that a university by the name of 'Rojava' based in Qamishlo will be opened during the Ramadan Feast Eid-al-Fitr.

The university will be open to the peoples of Rojava and Syria and provide education in the fields of health, oil, computer and agricultural engineering; physics, chemistry, history, psychology, geography, mathematics and primary school teaching and Kurdish literature.
