Tunisian winemakers sample US market

Tunisians have been making wine for more than 2,000 years.

Today, they’re hoping to bring that tradition straight to the American market for the first time. Al-Monitor’s video team was there to capture some of the country’s top winemakers as they made their pitch to eminent Washington tastemakers during a recent wine tasting at the Tunisian Embassy.

The video is the first in Al-Monitor’s new showcase video series exploring Middle East cultural exchanges with the West.
