Persistent rain across northern and western Scotland overnight. Meanwhile, turning colder across the Northern Isles with wintry showers. Mostly cloudy skies elsewhere, with occasional fog patches in the south and patchy light rain for some too.
Temperatures peaked around 19C on Thursday with plenty of sunshine in places. Can we expect more of the same as we move towards May?
Hard to believe it's really spring as temperatures plunge right across the continent.
