What's on offer?

grads

Graduation day often seems like the end of your time at Warwick. In reality though, it’s just the start of something new.

From the day you graduate you become a member of the Warwick alumni community and being a member of this exclusive group has its advantages. There’s a long list of alumni benefits and we are constantly adding new ones and improving the existing ones

To take advantage of all these benefits, register with us via the warwickgrad.net portal. Once you have done this you can register for an email address which you will enable you to access the journals.

  • Sign up for our new networking and e-mentoring service

However you fit into the Warwick community, whether as a current student or experienced graduate, a mentoring relationship can have benefits. Whether you’re looking for guidance at a challenging time in your career, a new skill for your CV or an opportunity to share the benefit of your experience, you will quickly find positive benefits of this exclusive service for alumni and students of the University of Warwick.

  • Access JSTOR, Emerald, ABS and EBSCO Business Source

Alumni frequently ask whether they can continue to access to online journals after graduation. We are pleased to say that we can now offer alumni access to JSTOR, Emerald and Business Source. These services are huge digital libraries of academic journals, books and primary sources. We know that many alumni are interested. You will need to set up a profile on warwickgrad.net and sign up for an email address in order to use this service as you will need a warwickgrad.net email and password to access the page with the links to the journals.
  • Access careers advice through the Warwick Careers Service

As a Warwick graduate, you can continue to receive free careers support after graduation. If you are currently seeking employment or further study and would like help, let us know. A careers consultant can offer support with getting started on your career planning, applications, interview and assessment centres.
  • Use the library and other campus services with an alumni swipecard

As a registered alumnus, you can access facilities such as the Library, Learning Grid, Sports Centre and Students’ Union. All you need to do is apply for a free Warwick alumni swipe card.
  • Get discounted access to Warwick Conferences

Warwick Conferences’ award-winning facilities produce an annual turnover of £22m – the surplus of which is reinvested into Warwick’s world-class teaching and research. Comprising three dedicated training and conference centres alongside the main campus Conference Park, Warwick Conferences’ four venues expertly cater for up to 1,200 delegates. And now, Warwick Conferences are pleased to offer alumni – 20%* off published rates for meetings, events and functions. Alumni visiting campus can receive a 10% discount on accommodation if they book directly with Reservations or at the Centres. You will need to quote: 'AlumniTCC' when booking.
  • Surf the 'net on campus

Alumni visiting campus often need to access to wifi. Now alumni with swipe cards can get online using "Warwick Guest", a self-service wireless network available to short-term visitors to the University of Warwick.
  • Save on Warwick Sport membership

Alumni have always told us that sport was a large part of their Warwick experience. Just because you’ve graduated doesn’t give you the excuse to ease up on your keep fit regimen. Alumni can now benefit from sizeable discounts on their membership of Warwick Sport. Whether you want to swim, lift weights or play squash you will now only pay the same price as current staff. Alumni with a swipe card wanting to go for a swim can use the pool for £3.50 per single session rather than £4.00.
  • Take advantage of an alumni discount

For alumni who own and run companies or have a product that they'd like to offer to the Warwick community at a discounted rate there is now the opportunity to advertise it on the alumni website. Whether it's a holiday cottage, a restaurant or professional service, this is your opportunity to promote it directly to thousands of other Warwick graduates.
  • Sign up to e-network

e-network is the University's bi-monthly alumni e-newsletter. It updates our graduates on developments at the University, what's happening in the alumni community and anything else that might be of interest.
  • Find a friend

We regularly receive requests from former students who want to get in contact with friends from Warwick. To assist graduates who want to find friends and former classmates, the alumni association has developed a find a friend service.
  • Organise your own reunion

A reunion is a fantastic way to gather all your University friends together, catch up and renew old friendships. We are happy to give you advice on planning your reunion.
