Eric entered magazines as a Ben Bagdikian Fellow at Mother Jones in San Francisco. He then made his way east to GQ, where he began in 2010 as the assistant to editor in chief Jim Nelson and left in 2015 as associate editor. He now is online features editor for Esquire, for which he attempts to create the same sort of rich storytelling—and accompanying lush visuals—in the digital space that are traditionally the purview of print magazines. He and Jeff Sharlet, a writer with whom he works, won the 2015 National Magazine Award for Reporting for a story about the crackdown on gay culture in Russia.

Alexandra is an associate editor at SELF magazine working on the SELF Image section as well as the fashion and beauty features. Becky Mickel is the Image Licensing Manager for Condé Nast, where she consults the publisher's iconic brands, including Vanity Fair, Vogue, and the New Yorker on how to monetize their expansive photo archives through product launches, events, auctions and one-off printing. Formerly, Becky was the associate editor at Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, where she covered etiquette, planning, real weddings and registry—all while sampling cake and other treats (which she also reported on). A longtime devotee of the Martha Stewart brand, Becky first joined the team as the Martha Stewart Living ASME editorial intern in 2012. After graduating with a degree in journalism and mass communications from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, the Louisiana native moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to work for an event design firm. In October 2013, Becky traded in the southeastern shore for bustling New York City and found a home away from home in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Laynie is an associate editor at Fast Company, where she works on FOB stories about innovative people and game-changing businesses. Prior to joining Fast Company in January 2016, she spent three years at More magazine, where she started as an editorial assistant shortly after graduating from the University of Georgia. As an undergrad, Laynie was an ASME editorial intern at Money and editor of UGA's official student-produced magazine, Ugazine. She and her magazine-obsessed roommates live on the Upper East Side, where they can be found watching House Hunters and staring longingly at puppies in Carl Schurz Park.

Elizabeth Sile is the associate travel editor at Departures, American Express' luxury lifestyle magazine, where she writes and edits stories on destinations, hotels and fine dining—near and far. She is also a freelance writer, editor and copywriter, and her work has appeared in Esquire, Parenting, Inc. and more. Before Departures, Elizabeth was an editorial assistant at Esquire, where she edited the magazine's Politics Blog with Charles P. Pierce, and she was a 2010 ASME intern at Reader's Digest. She has degrees in journalism and political science from Ithaca College, where she edited the college's student newspaper and created a narrative nonfiction magazine.

Michelle Timmerman is an associate producer at AtlanticLIVE, The Atlantic's live journalism team. There, she reports, recruits, prepares, and executes content for live events the world over. In 2014, she produced The Atlantic's first international event, which gathered startup founders and local visionaries in Abu Dhabi to talk about the Middle East's entrepreneurial ecosystem and its potential impact on the region. She started at The Atlantic through the Atlantic Media Fellowship Program, following her graduation in 2013 from Harvard. There she chaired Harvard's student life magazine, The Crimson's destination for both longform journalism and silly lists. Originally from the Bay Area, Michelle's first job on the East Coast was at Glamour as an ASME editorial intern.
