Chris has an Associate’s Degree from Jackson College, Bachelor’s Degree from Siena Heights University and a librarian degree (MSI) from the University of Michigan. Her work history has meandered from healthcare to logistics to higher ed, but librarianship is her true lurve. On a typical day you will find Chris loving on her cat, reading contemporary sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, suspense, memoirs, cereal boxes, really whatever is handy, or playing video games.

Brian graduated from the University of Michigan and has an MA in History from Columbia University. He has worked at ITHAKA for more than 10 years supporting end-users, librarians, publishers and internal staff. Prior to ITHAKA, he worked for Global Subscriber Relations at WeightWatchers.com. Brian enjoys the tranquility of a golf course and boring anyone who will listen to him with stories of 19th Century American utopian communities. 

Kathryn has a BA in English Lit from the University of Michigan, and an MSI (aka librarian degree) also from the University of Michigan, yet she has never attended a U-M football game. She worked in scholarly publishing, public libraries, and even dabbled in federal librarianship before landing at JSTOR. When she’s not conducting webinars and supporting JSTOR users, she spends a lot of time with salty hair and a giant sandy dog.

Lauren graduated from Kalamazoo College and has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of London. Before becoming the User Advocacy and Accessibility Specialist at JSTOR, she worked at Bloomsbury Publishing in London where she marketed books and found a signed Harry Potter #7 in the basement. She enjoys science fiction and her favorite search term is 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' 

Erin graduated from Eastern Michigan University and she’s been delighting users for more than a decade since.  At home you’ll find her digging in the dirt where she raises chickens and grows all sorts of fruits and vegetables.  She also enjoys music, finding great restaurants in new cities she visits, and can hula hoop with the best of them.

Chuck graduated from the Michigan State University with a BA in English Literature. He is a Technical Support Specialist at JSTOR and has been with the organization since 2006. He is a DJ and a musician, and offers up his services to benefit various causes. On his own, Chuck makes music that his dad says sounds "like someone cleaning their garage in the rain."

Rachel has a BA and MA in history from Eastern Michigan University and an MLIS from the University of Washington. She enjoys playing and cuddling with her (semi-wild) cat, reading dry academic books on gender in 18th century Europe, camping and hiking.

Born and raised in Ukraine, Tonya moved to the US where she graduated from Michigan State University with a Business Marketing degree. She held a number of marketing roles at the beginning of her professional career before joining ITHAKA more than 5 years ago. Tonya’s role in User Services consists of providing exceptional service to its users, while being responsible for workflows, processes and cross-collaboration among other departments.

Lucy has a BFA and MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She enjoys cooking, running, reading, listening to podcasts, and feeling guilty about mostly watching Netflix instead of doing those other things she listed. She once held a koala and she still can’t get over it. Before she worked at JSTOR she lived in the apartment building where they filmed the movies Blue Velvet and The Conjuring, but it was only kind of haunted.
