The American Booksellers Association is inviting all member booksellers to contribute suggestions for topics and speakers for upcoming educational events.

Suggestions can be submitted year-round via two new forms on BookWeb:

Booksellers can make suggestions at any time; ABA staff will review the list of submissions when planning for upcoming ABA events, such as Winter Institute, Children’s Institute, BookExpo, the Spring Forums, and the fall regional trade shows.

Full education session proposals, including the topic, the content, and suggested speakers, are also welcome to be submitted to ABA staff. For general education sessions, send full proposals to ABA Education Manager Lisa Winn; for sessions on children’s bookselling, send proposals to ABC Children’s Group Manager Gen de Botton.

Booksellers are also welcome to e-mail suggestions for any type of content to ideas@bookweb.org.
