The Napoleon Series Map Archives provides high quality maps on the various battles, campaigns, and other items of interest on the Napoleonic Wars. These maps are from a variety of sources and about 75% of them are in color. Often the maps are on a scale of or better and provide details of terrain and unit deployments that are not available any place else. The archives will continue to grow, however we need the support of the readers. If you have a map that may be of interest and you would like to provide a copy for the archives, please contact the Map Archives editor. Please note that any map provided must NOT be protected by copyright. In general this means that the map must be from a source that is at least 75 years old. Maps that are from a reprint that is less than 75 years can not be accepted. (For example a map from a book printed in 1875 can be used. A map from a 1985 reprint of a book first published in 1875 can not.)

The maps in the archives are protected by the Napoleon Series copyright but are free for anyone's non-commercial use. We define non-commercial use as any project where the author or publisher does not have a specific intent to make a profit for personal gain. The maps may be used without permission from the Napoleon Series for research papers, magazine articles, wargames, and any other non-profit endeavor. The maps may not be used in any commercial enterprise such as books, games, or electronic publishing (such as CD-ROMs) without the permission of the Napoleon Series.
