If you haven’t been to Morocco, it is time to readjust your priorities in life and bring that to the top of your bucket list.

If you think you have seen it all, then you’re still living under a rock. The hype hasn’t even begun and that’s just another mystery you need to go there to solve.

Legend has it, that Marakkech casts a spell on you and one that lasts forever.

Marrakech is famously known as ‘love at first sight destination’ where legends like Yves Saint Laurent or Serge Lutens among many others fell for it so deeply that they built a home in the beautiful city while others continue to create a permanent association of sorts with the medina.

This week we take you on an astounding visual journey that will give you a glimpse into the mystical city and all it offers. From the colorful streets, alluring aromas in the souk, awe-inspiring and jaw-dropping architectural wonders, most beautiful blues and exotic plants at Majorelle Garden to the newly opened Yves Saint Laurent museum, Marrakech is an incredible source of inspiration and wonder. History awaits you at every corner with a mystifying story that teaches you that its legacy goes beyond centuries of history and cultural evolution. Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakesh, which is constructed in an unconventional way compared to what we see in Asia. To get a real sense of the city visit Jemaa el-Fnaa Square which is predominantly occupied by the most unusual sights including performances, men with chained Barbary apes and snake charmers or women selling spices while drinking traditional Moroccan tea. The square was also featured in the Alfred Hitchcock movie The Man Who Knew Too Much. Palais de la Bahia is one of those sensational architectural monuments where you can spend hours just admiring the details on the ceilings and doors. In fact the city is created with so much detail that even if you sat in your Riad at Royal Mansour, that in itself counts as a mini historical tour of Moroccan architecture. So when they say Morocco has magic, believe it. Every detail is magical.
