The Health ministry recently joined the world in commemorating World Mental Health day on the 10th of October each year. The theme for this year, Mental Health in the Workplace called for ending stigma and discrimination towards those dealing with mental health issues in workplaces.

Anthrax Outbreak
The public is notified about the emergence of Anthrax infection in Namibia which has affected and caused death to more than 100 hippos. As a result, dead hippopotamus (hippos) catcasses floating in the Okavango River crossed into Botswana from Namibia. Anthra is an infection caused by bacteria, Bacillus Anthracis, ussually transmitted fromm infected animals.
