Hawar news agency’s reporters received copies of a graphic video that touch up on four axes: “Importance of federalism, electoral card, number of candidates and electoral centers in the three regions And the list of the Democratic Nation and the list of Kurdish National Alliance in Syria. “

Importance of federalism

Federalism is a form of administration the administration is divided between the federal government and smaller government units in federals states and regions, and federalism is the best fair solution for societies of diverse communities and nationalities multicultural, linguistic, religious, the most expressive and democratic means of self-specificities of its components with maintaining the link of unity.

This model applies in more than 27 countries, Argentina, Australia, the United States and others which forms for more than 40% of the world’s population.

Election card

The electoral card is one of the most important tools that prevent forgery in the elections because it generally contains voter information in its personal form and can be presented at the voting stations on the day of the elections without any other personal evidence. The electoral card has become a reliable means of proving the personal identity of the citizen his identity card or his passport while standing at checkpoints during the transfer from one city to another within federal areas The electoral card facilitates voting in areas where the voter is un known.

Number of candidates and electoral centers in the three regions

More than 5,600 candidates compete in local council elections in the second round of federal elections in the regions, the Euphrates , Afrin and al-Jazeera Where the number of candidates in al-Jazeera region 3048  candidates after the rejection of the Electoral Commission requests for 102 candidates, while the number of candidates in the Euphrates 1170 candidates and the number of rejected  candidates 4, while in the region of Afrin, the number of candidates 1502 candidates and the number of rejected applications amounted to 48 Candidate .

The list of the Democratic Nation and the list of the Kurdish National Alliance in Syria

The people of northern Syria will go to the voting centers in December 1 to choose their candidate in the local council elections in the second round of federal elections in the three regions.

In this round, a group of Kurdish, Arab and Christian parties and mainstreams will compete in two main lists: the list of Democratic Nation which consist of 18 parties, and Kurdish National Alliance in Syria which consist of 5 parties, and a list of independents.

The Democratic Nation List includes Democratic Union Party, Modernity and Democracy of Syria Party, Arab National Body, Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria,  Al-Khder Kurdistan Party , Kurdish Liberal Party, Syrian Union Party, Kurdish Left Party in Syria, Kurdistan Democratic Change Party, Kurdistan Renewal Movement – Syria, Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Assyrian Democratic Party, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Free Patriotic Union of Syria, Democratic Conservative Party, Roj Kurdish Party ,Kurdish Fraternity  party.

The coalition list includes: Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti), Kurdish Democratic Left Party in Syria, Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al- Party) Reformist Movement of Syria, and Syrian Kurdish Democratic al-Wefaq Party.
