The University of Maryland is currently involved with over 30 projects and 1.5 million square feet of development to build a “Greater College Park.” In cooperation with the City of College Park, Prince George’s County, and the University itself, the Greater College Park Initiative aims to revitalize the campus and surrounding neighborhood to create not only a dynamic and innovative academic environment, but a vibrant downtown community as well.
