In this film, we learn about the fate of many women in El Salvador, where abortion laws are so inhumane that a woman can be imprisoned simply for having a miscarriage, and about Amnesty International’s ongoing work to pressure governments into changing this law. Deputy Director of Campaigns Juliana Cano Nieto tells us the story of Teodora, a woman tragically imprisoned for over eight years, who is still waiting for her release and for justice for all women in El Salvador.
