Martyna is a campaigner at Amnesty International Poland, the birthplace of what is now Amnesty International’s biggest annual global campaign: Write for Rights. Every year people all over the world join with Amnesty International to flood powerful offices around the globe with demands for freedom and justice. Martyna tells the story of how she brought about the case for Belarussian activist Ales Bialetski, and how the campaign influenced Ales’ release from prison. Through Martyna’s story we learn about the power of solidarity, the impact of action, and about what it means to be part of a global movement for human rights.
