Community

Being part of the community and giving back is part of who Turner is. We’re a big company so coming together to volunteer, make contributions to those in need and reduce our footprint on this Earth can make an impact.

Volunteerism

Annual Projects

Turner Volunteer Day, MLK Volunteer Day and Season of Giving are company supported volunteer events that bring employees together to participate in service projects around the cities in which we work.

Ongoing Projects

Employees have opportunities all year long to volunteer with our arts, culture and youth nonprofit partners.

Volunteer Grants

Turner gives monetary donations to a nonprofit or school with which an employee regularly volunteers.

Volunteer Release Time*

Employees can receive up to 40 hours of volunteer release time annually to support volunteerism during the workweek.

Contributions & Grants

Turner Voices

Turner’s signature corporate philanthropy program strategically invests in community arts and culture and youth development. Our support leverages our people, products, technology and services to identify and develop a pipeline of future storytellers and talent.

Matching Grants

Turner matches a portion of an employee donation made to nonprofit organizations.

Environmental Concerns

Resource Conservation

Turner makes constant efforts to conserve energy and water and reduce waste on a large scale through constant facilities improvements and employee recycling programs.

Green Commuting*

Turner’s Clean Air Commuter Program encourages employees to help reduce pollution and highway congestion by using mass transit, carpools and vanpools.

Electric car charging stations are available to employees at several work locations.

Employees can purchase transit passes and parking vouchers or elect parking reimbursement with funds deducted from paychecks on a pre-tax basis through the Transportation Services Program.

*Program offerings differ by location.
