"Only the Brave"

As most of us run from danger, they run toward it – they watch over our lives, our homes, everything we hold dear, as they forge a unique brotherhood that comes into focus with one fateful fire. "Only the Brave" stars Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, James Badge Dale, with Taylor Kitsch and Jennifer Connelly.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ken Nolan and Eric Warren Singer, the film is based on the GQ Article “No Exit” by Sean Flynn. Only the Brave is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Michael Menchel, Erik Howsam, Molly Smith, Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, Dawn Ostroff, and Jeremy Steckler. Ellen H. “The Old Man and the Gun”
“The Old Man and the Gun” is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker (Robert Redford), from his audacious escape from San Quentin at the age of 70 to an unprecedented string of heists that confounded authorities and enchanted the public. Wrapped up in the pursuit are detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck), who becomes captivated with Forrest’s commitment to his craft, and a woman (Sissy Spacek), who loves him in spite of his chosen profession. 
Written and directed by David Lowery (“Pete’s Dragon”) and based on a short story by David Grann (“The Lost City Of Z”) for The New Yorker, one of Condé Nast’s preeminent titles, the film stars Academy Award® winners Robert Redford (“Ordinary People”), Casey Affleck (“Manchester By The Sea”), and Sissy Spacek (“Coal Miner’s Daughter”), along with Danny Glover (“To Sleep With Anger,” “Dreamgirls”), Tom Waits (“Short Cuts,” “Seven Psychopaths”), and Tika Sumpter (“Southside With You”). “The Old Man and the Gun” is produced by Endgame Entertainment’s James D. Stern, CNE's Dawn Ostroff and Jeremy Steckler, Wildwood Enterprises, Identity Films’ Anthony Mastromauro, Sailor Bear’s Toby Halbrooks and James M. Johnston and Bill Holderman. Executive producers on the film are Julie Goldstein, Lucas Smith, Patrick Newall, and Tango Entertainment’s Tim Headington. Fox Searchlight is distributing the film in North America and the UK.

"King of the Jungle"
Three-time Academy Award® nominee Johnny Depp is set to star in “King of the Jungle,” a dark comedy to be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa from a script by Golden Globe® and Emmy Award® winners Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski that is based on a true story first published in Condé Nast’s WIRED by Joshua Davis. The film tells the wild true story of rogue tech magnate John McAfee, creator of the McAfee Antivirus software, who cashed in his fortune, left civilization, and moved to the jungle in Belize. There, he set up a Colonel Kurtz-like compound of guns, sex, and madness. In the film, a WIRED magazine investigator accepts what he thinks is a run-of-the-mill assignment to interview McAfee, but once he arrives in Belize, he finds himself pulled into McAfee’s escalating paranoia, slippery reality, and murder.
“King of the Jungle” is from CNE, Zaftig Films, MadRiver Pictures, and Epic Entertainment. The film will be produced by Condé Nast’s Dawn Ostroff and Jeremy Steckler; Zaftig’s Charlie Gogolak, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, and Epic’s Joshua Davis. MadRiver’s Marc Butan and Epic’s Joshuah Bearman will executive produce.

Based on an article in GQ and directed by Greg Whiteley (“Mitt,” “New York Doll,” “Resolved”), “Last Chance U” is a character driven, gut-wrenching behind-the-scenes look at the world of college football. After a successful initial run on Netflix, the streamer released season two of the acclaimed documentary series in July 2017. The show follows a group of young men training to become the future stars of the NFL. The football players are the latest recruits to East Mississippi Community College, a phenomenon in junior college sports, a school that attracts elite athletes, some of whom have been held back by poor academic performance or behavioral issues. In its first season, “Last Chance U” was nominated for a prestigious Peabody Award and a Critics’ Choice Television Award.

Supermodel Closets
In partnership with Daydream, Google’s mobile virtual reality platform, CNE unveiled the VR series, “Supermodel Closets,” on Vogue’s YouTube channel. In celebration of Vogue’s 125th anniversary, the series takes fans inside the closets of some of the most iconic Vogue cover supermodels, such as Cindy Crawford, Kendall Jenner, Amber Valletta and Lily Aldridge. Always exploring emerging platforms, CNE produced the five-episode series with YI HALO, the Jump camera for professional filmmakers. “Supermodel Closets” is produced by Julina Tatlock of 30 Ninjas, which also produced CNE’s VR series “Invisible.”
In October 2016, CNE brought Condé Nast’s legendary storytelling to virtual reality through a new partnership with Jaunt Studios, the leading producer of cinematic VR experiences. The first project, “Invisible,” is an episodic action-adventure series set in modern day Manhattan. Produced by CNE, Jaunt, and Samsung, “Invisible” unravels the secrets of a prominent New York City family blessed with a supernatural gift passed down through generations. As capacity of their extraordinary ability continues to grow in power, the birth of an exceptional new child draws public interest and their family secret teeters on the brink of becoming exposed. “Invisible” is available on Samsung’s VR service, CNE’s The Scene, the Jaunt VR app, iOS, Android, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and 360° viewing on major desktop browsers.

Interim President
Sahar Elhabashi manages all aspects of CNE’s thriving digital video division, feature film and television operations. She works closely with senior management to drive growth across the division and develop new business opportunities.
Previously, Elhabashi was chief operating officer of Discovery Networks International from 2007 to 2010. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Discovery’s international business, which distributed 17 media brands to 877 million television subscribers globally. Prior to Discovery, Elhabashi was executive vice president of strategy and digital media at MTV Networks International. In this role, she oversaw the rapid expansion of MTV Networks’ international digital media business in Europe, Asia and Latin America, including the launch of branded mobile TV channels and video-based websites around the world.
Elhabashi holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
