Welcome to the Belvedere
The Belvedere in Vienna blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. The park with its two Baroque palaces is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the state rooms, you will experience more than 800 years of art ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day, while the Belvedere 21 is a showcase for contemporary art.

Gustav Klimt and Vienna around 1900
Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka, female artists like Koller-Pinell and Luksch-Makowsky: around 1900, Vienna was the center of the art world. The Belvedere showcases outstanding works from this period and boasts the world's most extensive Klimt collection of paintings, including the famous Kiss.
