Fill out forms automatically

You can let Chrome fill out forms automatically with saved info, like your addresses or payment info. When you enter info in a new form online, Chrome might ask you if you’d like Chrome to save it.

Add or change payment and address info you saved in Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile Profile and then Payment methods or Addresses and more.
  3. Add, edit, or delete info: 
    • Add: Next to "Payment methods" or "Addresses," click Add. This will save your info to Chrome on your device.
    • Edit: To the right of the card or address, click More More and then Edit.
    • Delete: To the right of the card or address, click More More and then Remove. 
If you add, edit, or delete an address and you’ve turned on sync, your changes will show up on your other devices.
If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you will still need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.

Save your payment info to Google Pay

If you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, you can ask Google Pay to make your payment information available across your devices so you can quickly fill out forms. You can also add your payment info individually to each of your devices. 
 

When you’re signed-in to Chrome with your Google Account and enter your payment method into a form online, Chrome may ask if you want to save your payment info in Google Pay. If you accept, your payment info will be saved in Google Pay. If Google Pay doesn’t support your payment method, Chrome may offer to save it locally on your device. 

Payment methods saved in Google Pay will show up as suggestions in most forms you fill out online.

Edit, or delete a credit card in Google Pay
  1. Go to pay.google.com.
  2. On the left, click Payment methods.
  3. Find the card you want to edit or delete.
    • Edit: Below the card, click Edit.
    • ​Delete: Below the card, click Remove. 
Stop saving payment info to Google Pay

To stop syncing payment info to Google Pay:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and thenSettings.
  3. At the top, under "People," click Sync and Google services.
  4. Under “Sync,” click Manage Sync.
  5. Turn off Sync everything.
  6. Turn off Payment methods and addresses using Google Pay.

If you're signed-in but sync is not enabled, Chrome may still offer to save your payment info to Google Pay.

When you sign in to your Google Account through a Google service, like Gmail, you’ll be automatically signed in to Chrome. If you don’t want to ever sign in to Chrome, you can turn off Chrome sign-in.

Stop offering to save payment and contact info to Chrome

You can tell Chrome not to save your payment and contact info on your device and not to offer to save your info.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
    • To stop saving payment info, turn off Save and fill payment methods.
    • To stop saving addresses and contact info, turn of Save and fill addresses.
  3. At the top, under "People", click Payment methods or Addresses and more.

Chrome doesn't suggest your saved info

If you don't get suggestions when you fill out a form, either:

  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
  • If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.

Delete your saved Autofill form info

To delete your addresses, payment methods, and other saved info in Chrome at the same time, follow these steps:
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More.
  3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range, like "Last hour" or "All time".
  5. Under "Advanced," choose Autofill form data.
