Senior Data Analyst (Contract)
The Fundraising Operations team is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team, to support the process of making data driven decisions to improve the effectiveness of our fundraising strategies, while staying true to our values of openness, transparency and respect of user privacy. This will be a full time (40 hours/week) contractor position. As the Senior Data Analyst, you will be reporting to and work closely with the Lead Data Strategist to support, optimize and enhance the real-time reporting structure that powers the Fundraising Analytics team - as well using that infrastructure to generate powerful insights that inform the strategy of the Fundraising team at large.
Senior Engineering Manager, Wikimedia Enterprise
Wikimedia Enterprise is a new cross-departmental project of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) to build fast, comprehensive, reliable, and secure data ingestion to organizations that wish to repurpose Wikimedia content in other contexts. As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a leader managing the technical roadmap and talented team of engineers behind our new Wikimedia Enterprise product. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to architecting, building, and maintaining Wikipedia’s data feeds for high volume reusers. You will work alongside the product and sales teams to define the long term strategy for Wikimedia Enterprise and support the financial sustainability of the Wikimedia movement.

The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for a Lead Technical Accountant to join our team, reporting to the Controller. As a Lead Technical Accountant, you are responsible for providing technical accounting advice and guidance which includes evaluating and implementing new changes, requirements and improvements. You will also provide advice on the potential implications of any regulatory changes. In addition, you will lead all the technical accounting preparation for the team, advise the business arrangement review team and prepare accounting policies in line with accepted industry practices.

The Senior Accountant is a member of the accounting team and responsible for assisting with the execution of daily accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and year-end tax preparation and audit processes in a fast paced, agile environment.  Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will partner with the Accounting team and other teams within the foundation to ensure that there are sufficient systems and procedures in place to provide effective support to existing and new program implementation.
