Hello! The processes dealing with OSM dumps on dumps-3 instances were killing NFS on the rest of labs due to heavy usage, so I've killed the process and disabled the cronjobs. Do you think these could be done without using NFS? Do consult me before re-enabling them, either here or on IRC or on email. Thanks! ::@Nemo: Yes they were, but Yuvipanda advised to use the local instance as using NFS would cause even more problems for other instances. --hydriz (talk) 12:19, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

Welcome to wikitech. Happy editing. Thanks for helping us keep our docs uptodate. -- ArielGlenn 13:47, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yo Hydriz, I don't want to keep the mirror requirements and the list here and at meta, just at meta. This local page serves a different purpose. This page is meant as a status page which is more of a todo list/status list (hence the page name). If you don't mind I'm going to undo that. The meta page could use some love; also if you have info for the history page that needs help too. Additionally I am pretty sure that the link farm is woefully incomplete; we need to inventory that stuff so we can have any hope of organizing the information better. -- ArielGlenn 21:02, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I notice you duplicated the mirror list with the urls here again. I don't want to maintain it here too: people should check the list on meta or off the dumps.wm.org page for that. These pages are for people who either run their own dumps or are maintaining ours. I'm going to do some cleanup to that effect. -- ArielGlenn 07:09, 28 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Tool Labs

Hello Hydriz, welcome to the Tool Labs project! Your request for access was processed and you should be able to login now via ssh at tools-login.wmflabs.org. To get started, check the help page and the migrating from the Toolserver page. You can also ask in our irc channel at #wikimedia-labs connect or send an e-mail to our mailing list labs-l@lists.wikimedia.org - thank you, and have fun using labs! petrb (talk) 09:40, 24 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disabled cronjobs on user hydriz on dumps-3 instance

Thanks! yuvipanda (talk) 11:56, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

yuvipanda, were these not using /data/scratch ? --Nemo 12:11, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Nemo: Yes they were, but Yuvipanda advised to use the local instance as using NFS would cause even more problems for other instances. --hydriz (talk) 12:19, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
