Alex Kisling led the Atlantic Council’s media relations team, which broadens the reach of the Council’s programs, experts, events and publications through global press engagement.

Prior to joining the Atlantic Council in 2019, Alex worked for nearly a decade at the leading public affairs firms Kivvit and Public Strategies Washington, where he conceptualized and managed high-profile strategic communications and public policy advocacy campaigns that shaped decision-maker opinion in Washington and across the United States. He began his career on Capitol Hill as an aide to Congressman Steve Driehaus (D-OH).

A native of Cincinnati, OH, Alex lives with his wife and son in Northwest Washington, DC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College (CT).
