Id like to complain about applying for a Discover It card today (04/10/2024). I had a pull on my credit and Id like my credit to be cleaned up squeaky clean from this company. I had a credit card with them years ago that they closed on their own account because I was working with a consolidation company who scammed me and I never went with. Discover never opened my account back up or put me in good standing. Although they have been sending me applications for years 4 times a month none stop. When I apply to my surprise I am denied. I spoke with a few people and I was told that I was not approved and they are not sure if I would be able to be approved. They could not say yes or no but they said to keep applying even though I would get a soft pull put on my credit. This company is nuts! I could not speak to a supervisor and they would not reconsider the decision even though I have great credit and I am on time on all of my bills. This is nuts, they won't remove my ding and then they said to keep applying and seeing if I would be approved but they aren't sure if I would ever be approved. What kind of unprofessional ******** is that. I am sorry for my language but this is ridiculous. I want my credit report to be clean, spotless, scrubbed from this company ever looking at my credit history or whatever they do. If possible a compensation for their stupidity to send me mail every week for the last 7 years.
