Ukraine conflict: Tymoshenko speech ends historic day of revolution

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has given an emotional address to crowds in Kiev's Independence Square, hours after being released from a prison hospital.

The speech marked the end of a dramatic day of developments in the country's political crisis, with President Viktor Yanukovych fleeing the capital but refusing to stand down.
