In response to the Public Health Crisis and the temporary restrictions at some of our member libraries, we are making the following announcement:
Hold requests are no longer limited to local pickup only.
We saved your place in line!
If you placed a request for pickup at a non-local library, you did not lose your place in line. Requests will gradually be reactivated and filled as items become available.
No longer need that request?
If you have any requests for titles you no longer need (particularly those for non-local pickup) you can cancel them from your account page to ensure you don’t still receive those items.
Hold requests limit on physical material remains at 20.
To further improve your library experience, the maximum number of simultaneous hold requests was increased from 10 to 20. These can be used for requesting additional physical material or new titles not yet available.
Access library material, even at home!
As always, access to library eContent is available for patrons in good standing. Visit your local library's website or eBCCLS.org for more info, or apply for a library card if you don’t already have one!
We appreciate your patience as we work through this difficult time. Please know our commitment to our patrons and their safety remains foremost in our thoughts.
