Jock is best known for his comic book work, including the "Black Mirror" arc of Detective Comics and the creator-owned series Wytches -- both of which he worked on with writer Scott Snyder. He has also provided concept art for a number of films, including Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Dredd.

Jupiter's Legacy is based on the comic of the same name by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, who also serve as executive producers on the television series. Spanning decades, the series focuses on Sheldon Sampson -- better known as the world's greatest superhero, the Utopian -- and his fractured relationship with his children. Jupiter's Legacy is the first in a planned series of adaptations of Millar's work after Netflix purchased the rights to his Millarworld imprint in 2017.

"It's a 50-year story self-contained inside one franchise," Millar previously said while discussing the scope of Jupiter's Legacy. "It's got a cast of 50 or 60 super-characters. The story starts in 1929 and runs until the end of time. It runs through all time and space and explains the mystery of human existence, all tied into a superhero story."

Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy stars Josh Duhamel as The Utopian, Ben Daniels as Brain-Wave, Leslie Bibb as Lady Liberty, Elena Kampouris as Chloe Sampson, Andrew Horton as Brandon Sampson, Mike Wade as The Flare, Anna Akana as Raikou and Matt Lanter as Skyfox. The series premieres May 7 on Netflix.
