The past year now going on two we have faced a lot of challenges especially as high school students. This year being my senior year as of many other students whom are now in their last year are upset to the fact covid as once again took something from us. It is our senior year and too many other students it’s possibly their first year…homecoming means a lot  to students and their families. It’s the time of year where people feel special and can get together and interact. We as high school students understand the challenges our world has been facing lately but we still have to live a little and can’t have everything took from us. We would like to say if we have to wear a mask in order to have a homecoming we will do so. This is a very special time for students it helps them see where the fun is in high school events also helps keep up their work and grades as to some parents won’t let their kids go out if they don’t meet the academic standards. We are not asking for much we are only asking for a dance for one night, we understand the precautions we would have to take and the risk we are taking as their is a slight chance of catching covid but to those whom are scared of the virus do not have to come but if you give us the dance then those whom want to come will be able to get a chance of a night of happiness and joy.
