Access Booth ExpertiseFunding scholarships is a great way for companies to support the next generation of business leaders while advancing their brand. The William Blair & Company Scholarship Fund, for example, was established in November 2005 with gifts from the firm and its employees.
A Chicago Booth alumnus led the fund-raising effort at the firm, and many employees have continued to make gifts to the fund in the years since. The scholarship is awarded each year to an incoming MBA student who intends to pursue a career in financial services.
