Application information

First-year

If you have not taken any previous college courses, you should apply as a first-year student. To successfully apply to AAU, alongside the online application, please submit these required documents: CV/resume; personal statement; English waiver; high school transcript/ diploma; and a copy of your passport/ID. Once you have submitted your application and documents we will schedule an interview with the Dean of your chosen School. This interview can be done in person or via Skype and you will be informed on the decision within 1 week.

Transfer

If you have previously taken college courses, you should apply as a transfer student. To successfully apply to AAU, alongside the online application, please submit these required documents: CV/resume; personal statement; English exam results (TOEFL or equivalent), unless you qualify for a waiver; official university transcript; high school diploma and transcript; and a copy of your passport/ID. Once you have submitted your application and documents we will schedule an interview with the Dean of your chosen School. This interview can be done in person or via Skype and you will be informed on the decision within 1 week.

Additional Information

On top of a great education there is a wide variety of student services available on campus, such as the Academic Tutoring Center, Career Center, and Student Services Center. We provide a community environment with student housing and the New Student Mentor Program to help you acclimate to Prague.

AAU also offers the possibility to study abroad for a semester or longer in one of our 35+ partner universities.
