Welcome to where dreams become a reality, where the practical world meets inspiration. For more than 160 years, an Auburn degree has prepared a new generation of students to innovate and lead. And our results speak for themselves. Forbes calls us a “Best Value College” and Kiplinger's named us a “100 Best Values in Public Colleges.” It’s no surprise that Auburn is Alabama’s top university. While some students literally learn to fly here, all are prepared to soar.

Additional Information

Auburn University awards considerable scholarships every year.
The Office of University Scholarships awards competitive merit and select need-based and general scholarships. Academic colleges award departmental scholarships. Auburn must receive updated test scores by January 10. For students who apply for admission as test optional applicants, the academic assessment during the evaluation for admission may also be considered.

Scholarships are awarded competitively, and consideration does not guarantee an award. Each entering class competes with itself. Actual awards are determined based on the number of qualified admitted students, the credentials of those applicants, and available funding. Students may receive a select need-based, general, or departmental scholarship in addition to a competitive merit scholarship.
