Tanzeem Choudhury: The Sad Clownfish

Tanzeem Choudhury and her team develop apps that turn your phone into a tool for measuring your emotional well-being. Choudhury is associate professor of information science at Cornell, and leads the People-Aware Computing Lab. Tanzeem herself was a digital late bloomer, only touching a computer for the first time in a computer programming class when she was 18 years old.
"The Secret Life of Scientists and Engineers" is an Emmy-nominated web video series and site from the makers of the acclaimed science series, NOVA. Each episode profiles one of today's leading scientists, and shows what happens when the lab coats come off. Secret Life is produced by Seftel Productions, Inc.
