About Pulpit Rock: As the scorching summer sun covers the small Scilly island of St Mary’s, DI Ben Kitto and his team are training for the annual swimathon. But their morning session comes to a climactic end when they discover a body hanging from Pulpit Rock. The victim has been dressed in a bridal gown, and Ben quickly realises that a dark and sinister killer is at large on the island.

Description: Join us for a double bill In Conversation event online, with Elodie Harper and Jennifer Saint as they chat about their new books 'The Wolf Den' and 'Ariadne'.

Elodie Harper is a TV journalist and prize-winning short story writer. Her story 'Wild Swimming' won the 2016 Bazaar of Bad Dreams short story competition, which was judged by Stephen King.

Due to a lifelong fascination with Ancient Greek mythology, Jennifer Saint read Classical Studies at King’s College, London. She spent the next thirteen years as an English teacher, sharing a love of literature and creative writing with her students. Ariadne is her first novel and she is working on another retelling of ancient myth for her second.

Ed grew up in Kildare town, Ireland, where he moved from his native Toronto, Canada, aged six. His first novel, 'Not Untrue & Not Unkind' was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2009 and shortlisted for the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award. Ed lives in Dublin with his wife and two children.
