I absolutely loved this place. I went back in September and was reminded after visiting another vegan restaurant in Vermont today how quality as well as quantity is everything. The difference was like night and day. Everyone was so friendly, loved the ambiance.
Generous portions, fantastic flavor, no complaints! Definitely will be coming back.

Amazing food. We tried a lot of options on the menu and were impressed with all of them. Non-vegans would definitely enjoy this food as well- tons of unique options that are so flavorful. The fried chicken was incredible. Kale salad was also amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Guess what?? I'm not vegan...yet!! However, this food right here was the truth and makes me think twice about my food choices. The flavor of the Power Bowl with mushrooms was way more than I bargained for and definitely seasoned to perfection. I must say, I enjoyed every single bite. You could feel the love put into every dish. Oh and let's not forget the Mackin' Cheese, oh my!!! This small local restaurant is nestled in the back corner behind a convenient store, a hidden but well known gem with great service and food. Your overall experience is what you make it!

I only got carry-out here, but when I went to pick up my order, the restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was welcoming. I'm very new in my vegan journey, but I LOVED everything I ordered! We had a fish plate with a side order of shrimp, greens, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. We also had an order of soul rolls, with yellow rice. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back! 😋

Another great find thanks to the happy cow app. Very inviting restaurant, happy and friendly staff, Delicious and filling vegan food. Had the kale salad with avocado, Mac and cheese, poboy with cheesy fries and a sweet tea. They also offer specials and holiday catering. The offer online ordering. Will definitely return.

We live in raleigh and googled this restaurant. From the reviews we read we felt it would be pretty good. I just want to say not only was it spot on delicious. The service we received was awesome. Shout out to Christina. It was way worth the travel and will be back again. We have some more menu items to try.

I decided to get the Southern Fried Drumstix and Yellow Rice. WOW!!!! It was awesome. If you're on a no-meat journey and are craving southern fried chicken, this meal and a little Texas Pete is a NC win! Highly recommended.
Next time I'll add a salad.

First time here and I will be back! Got the grilled chkn sandwich, soul mac, Idaho potato fries, and honey mustard sauce. Placed the order online and it was ready to be picked up within 30 minutes. Soul mac was so flavorful and the homemade honey mustard was delicious on my fries and sandwich.

My wife and I saw this restaurant after shopping at an adjacent Indian mart. It’s tucked away in a corner and easy miss, and a big loss to miss. We tried it out today — both having the basic barbecue sandwich — and we loved it! Ton of flavor and great texture. Cheerful service, too, and I would recommend.

It was our first time in and the staff were so friendly and helpful in navigating the menu and making sure we knew the ropes!
We took a recommendation of the hot huney chikn sandwich and it was amazing! Really crispy, great toppings, and the hot huney sauce was sweet and had a lingering heat. I loved that there were homemade pickles and thin sliced red onions. It's nice for a sandwich to have that extra care. I got the greens as a side and they are a MUST if you like collard greens southern style. They were salty, spicy, vinegary and cooked to perfection.
My wife got the buffalo ranch sandwich and loved it as well. It came with the same great toppings and chikn. She got the mac n cheese as a side and loved it. It was savory and creamy.
We are excited to go back to try more things on the menu and thankful that our first experience was so great.

Christina was awesome! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant (first time) until she served our food, she was engaging! She answered every question, made suggestions, and most of all made it an excellent experience. We watched her with other customers, and she was super consistent.

Oh my goodness! Wow, Pure Soul! Today was my mother and I first time visiting you all. From the positive and chill environment, spectacular vegan food, and delightful employees everything was wonderful! I absolutely loved the restroom signs. “Whatever. Just wash your hands.” 😂
Overall, this was an awesome experience and we will be back!! Keep up the good work everyone!
