Went Saturday night and had a great time!
Adorable , hip place! Food was delicious, drinks were on point & our waitress Angela was awesome! We had a party of 8 and loved it!

My friends and I went for the Igloos. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. Shoutout to James and Angela. I do not think the experience is worth $60-90 per person on food alone but the igloos were really why we went. The ambiance is cute and the igloos felt private despite them being clear. I think this is a one-time experience type thing as I do not see myself returning due to the pricing but am so glad we went. The staff really made the experience fun!

I visited this location on the night of 10/18/2023 for drinks, appetizers, and good vibes with my friends. I was impressed with all three. The rooftop was a holiday festive vibe with Christmas decor, igloos, and outside firepits and heaters. The female bartender (dark hair) upstairs was amazing, friendly, and attentive. Multitasking at it's best. The jalapeño drink she made me was to die for, both of them 🥴. She recommended the Brussel sprouts....delicious. My truffle fries came out a little cold, and without hesitation she ordered me another and even brought them downstairs to me in the lobby area. Delicious. The security staff friendly and professional. The bartenders in the lobby, energetic and friendly. Dj was a Vibe! I will be back my next trip to NC. Much love and appreciation to the whole staff that was working that night.

I wanted to like this place more. Super cool lobby and bar. The service was good, and the staff was helpful. It was the room that made things feel 'off'. The night I arrived I found out the rooms are motel style, with doors to the outside. The area is gated so it is protected from random folks. The room I had was nice, but the entry door light didn't work, and neither did two others in the room. Lastly... not enough hangers for towels and such in the bathroom. This is such a cool spot, you could overlook many small things but the pool area and park across the street do get noisy, be aware. Parking is fair. Lots of great places nearby too!

My friend and I were on the roof top really nice night, the drinks were watered down for the cost.
Music stopped around 10:00-10:30 disappointing.
But i understand why yes I would definitely go again but I would only order beer.

We had a great time. Didn't stay but stopped off at the rooftop pool and bar. Had few drinks and enjoyed the band. We plan to visit next time we're in town.

Have been admiring this place from street level for some time. We finally got to stay here on a Saturday night. They let us check in early, we went straight to the 3rd level pool/bar/restaurant. Pool was busy as was the bar but that just added to the vibe. This launched us into our evening in Durham. We returned around 9pm to a rousing party with live music. The bar was hopping, people were dancing. A great summer night happening. The band stopped at 10 because it is a hotel, some may want to retire. That's ok, just move downstairs to the other bar/restaurant. This is party central. If you want a quiet, low key evening this may not be your place on a weekend night. Want to keep the energy pumping, this is your choice.

Not great. Not terrible. Feels like it used to be a low income apartment building in the 60s. Well renovated to still have a retro flair. However, service was poor (not enough staff).... one person had to be running around doing too many things.... God bless the few ppl that work there.
there was no room cleaning service to refresh towels, soaps etc. or make the bed or do a quick straightem up of the place... and there was no coffee machine in the room. Standard things for American hotels....

The hotel looks nicer on its website than it does in real life. You do pay for parking with your room, just be prepared for that. There weren't many amenities in the room - for example, there was no coffee maker so we had to go downstairs to get coffee in the morning, and that coffee was really weak. We ended up walking to a nearby coffee shop instead. The walls are thin, so you'll hear your neighbors or people talking outside your door. Great location and cute pool area. Overall, it's just OK, I'll probably look at other options next time in in Durham.

Absolutely lovely hotel with a terrace/outdoor pool and cool, comfortable rooms. We all slept so well! Google TV made it easy for us to watch movies when it rained, and any personal details we entered (for Netflix etc) automatically delete every 24h. Live music on Friday night was great, and played generationally inclusive music - our group ranged from 22 y/o to 80 and everyone had a wonderful time. The two minor drawbacks (for me) were (1) shower only and (2) no coffee maker. Aside from this it was the perfect stay 😊

Came for a week long work trip. Amazing staff and wonderful location! Had a miscommunication about my rooms (my fault, haha) and the front desk employee when I checked in tonight was amazing and totally helped me out. She was funny, kind and helped me feel welcome. Got the room without a window on accident but it’s a great room and I didn’t even really notice. Will be back for sure.
